Following the Dreams Home
My love affair with this land is as old as the oldest myth. The base of my spine braids into her mountains. I feel almost as though my breath was borne of her cloudy wind, and my nectars of her rivers. It is deep, this love we are building together.
I am going to share with you much, much more about the medicine of dreaming in the coming weeks— because my dreams have guided me to and through every major juncture of my life. Literally. Because I honor their medicine, we are bonded. Because I honor this inner voice, I am free from the illusions and distortions of this world (or, at least, freeing myself more each day).
My dreams had been specifically calling me to this land for five years when I finally followed. Almost one year ago. This place has liberated me in ways I could only dream. But they are true, and very, very real.
My brother, teacher, friend, wise One, Keoni (Pohala.net) shared this ancient Mu prayer a year ago— and it has taken me a full year on this land to fully realize its presence within this body, and to feel the gathering tide of it taking more and more and more space in my field. I am turning more into the love affair of matter and light every day, and I weep at the feet of the great mystery that makes it so.
